With everyone practicing social distancing and basically being quarantined to their homes, many people are stocking up on necessities in case businesses are forced to shut down for an extended period of time. What does that mean for the liquor industry? Whiskey and spirits aficionado Fred Minnick (www.fredminnick.com) joined the Czabe Friday to talk about the potential for black market liquors and how bad that would be for people, especially for their health. During the prohibition era, people were making gin and other spirits in their kitchen sink that were, lets just say, not of the best quality and it didn't turn out well for many people. Hopefully as we get through this people won't have to resort to that.
