It was announced late last night that MLB legend David Ortiz has been shot while in the Dominican Republic. Reports have said that while David Ortiz has not fully recovered his recovery does look promising. There is a lot of speculation over the motive behind the shooting but it does not seem like there was any type of robbery involved and signs point more to this being a hit attempt on Big Papi. The person who shot David Ortiz is in custody however he is also in critical condition and prosecutors have not questioned him yet.
