BUCKS-CELTICS, BLOG 3

So, for something different, I was perusing social media Wednesday morning. (Ok, that's not different at all, I'm pretty addicted).

And I saw an ad for StubHub… Bucks-Celtics… Tuesday, April 30.

I had NO IDEA if this date was confirmed. In fact, I have Brewers tickets for that night, and my daughters would be pretty bummed. But thought I'd put it out there, as it was interesting that this was on StubHub HOURS before it was announced ANYWHERE else!

Looking at the basketball on the court, I'm starting to worry. As Ted Davis reminds us often, to be a Wisconsin sports fan means getting kicked in the gnads… repeatedly. So, I'm starting to worry.

Giannis is the best player in the series - no doubt about it. But Kyrie has been there before. Horford has a ton of playoffs experience. The C’s young guns got quite a bit last season. I am worried that Lopez, Bledsoe, Middleton et al do NOT have the same type of experience.

I am also worried the Celtics are starting to actually play to their potential - something we have been waiting for, and fearing, all season long.

So, there’s that.

Now that the full schedule is out, I am not sure I love it. Sure, Game 1 is a Sunday afternoon game, but I don’t love the following two weekends being skipped. It’s kind of a weird schedule to play so many Friday/Monday games. I haven’t checked the Boston Bruins schedule, but I am thinking their current playoffs run has something to do with Games 3 and 4 being Friday/Monday, instead of a weekend game in Boston.

So, the home games are Sunday, noon. Tuesday night, TBD (the same night I have Brewers tickets), Game 5 Wednesday May 8, and Game 7 Monday, May 13. I would have liked a Sunday afternoon game there for Game 7, I think?

NEWSFLASH: CHER IS PLAYING FISERV FORUM SUNDAY, MAY 12TH.
