Few signs for optimism in Packers preseason so far

While it's only preseason, and Aaron Rodgers hasn't even taken a snap yet, the Green Bay Packers haven't shown much reason for optimism through two exhibition games and training camp so far in 2019.

Jason Perone of Cheesehead TV notes that the last preseason outing at Baltimore didn't spring much hope for the upcoming season, and that may not change in two more preseason contests.

No real games have been played and the quarterback hasn't taken a single snap yet. He may not until the opener in Chicago. The Packers are clearly a different team with him than without him. But there is something to be said for the eyeball test and right now, the Packers aren't passing it. There are still two more chances for this team to get some game reps and improve. They may turn a corner, leaving the bad taste of last week's game behind or it might be more of what we saw against the Ravens.
