Packers to sign Denver OL Billy Turner

Tom Silverstein of JSOnline.com reports that the Packers will be signing Denver offensive lineman Billy Turner when free agency opens on Wednesday. Green Bay has already reportedly agreed to deals with edge rushers Za'Darius Smith and Preston Smith and safety Adrian Amos.

Silverstein made the report on Tuesday morning.

Turner has started 25 of his 40 career NFL games over the past five seasons, including 11 starts last year for Denver.

The Packers are also reportedly signing Baltimore edge rusher Za'Darius Smith, Washington edge rusher Preston Smith, and Chicago safety Adrian Amos. The latter two in the group have reportedly agreed to four-year deals.

Turner was originally drafted near the start of the third round of the 2014 NFL Draft by the Miami Dolphins. After being waived by Miami and Baltimore, he signed with Denver during the 2016 season, and played 20 games in two-plus seasons with the Broncos.
