Packers' final two 2019 opponents determined: San Francisco and Carolina

Green Bay will see San Francisco and Carolina in the 2019 season, as their final two opponents for next year were set with the conclusion of the 2018 regular season. The Packers will also see the AFC West and NFC East in addition to their NFC North home-and-home slate.

Including Minnesota, Detroit, and new NFC North champion Chicago, all of whom the Packers will see both home and away next year, here are the 2019 opponents for the Packers:

Home: Philadelphia, Washington, Oakland, Denver, and Carolina

Away: Dallas, New York (Giants), San Diego, Kansas City, and San Francisco

14 opponents are predetermined based on how the NFL schedule rotates; in addition to six intra-divisional games, teams play all of one other NFC and one other AFC conference for eight more games total. The remaining two games are determined based on season-ending record, so the Packers will see fellow third-place finishers San Francisco and Carolina in 2019. This guarantees that teams will match up at least once every four years under the current configuration of the NFL.

The NFL Schedule is typically announced around the time of the NFL Draft.
