Koby McEwen hit a three with just a few seconds left in regulation to send the game to overtime, but then Kamar Baldwin took over, leading #12 Butler to a home 89-85 overtime win over Marquette on Friday night.
Baldwin finished with a game-high 31 points in Butler's victory.
Markus Howard led Marquette with 26 points, while Sacar Anim added 22. McEwen finished with 13 points and 11 rebounds in the loss for the Golden Eagles.
Marquette stays on the road Wednesday night at Xavier, but then plays a pair of home games in February at Fiserv Forum, including a rematch with Butler on the 9th.
