Former Purdue basketball star Robbie Hummel joined Mike Heller and Bob Brainerd at the Final Four in Minneapolis to discuss his battles with Wisconsin back in college, and his work now as a broadcaster and participant in three-on-three basketball.
Hummel says, first and foremost, he loves Wisconsin, despite the Badgers costing his Boilermakers a Big Ten title back in his playing days. His relationship with former Badgers is great, in his words.
Three-on-three basketball has exploded in popularity in recent years, and Hummel shares his thoughts on why that is, especially in relation to play style and talent.
In regards to Wisconsin's one-and-done NCAA Tournament run, Hummel says the inability to shoot down the stretch of the season was the biggest factor, but running into a hot Oregon team right out of the gates was tough as well.
