Drew and KB had a fun moment today learning about a great program that helps kids locally. SHARP literacy promotes reading programs in youngsters, and has been collaborating with the Marquette Golden Eagles men's basketball team all year to help promote the program and it's initiatives. Marquette's Ike Eke, a senior social welfare and justice major is a big part of the reading with the Golden Eagles program and came along to talk about his experience with the program, his own personal journey to Milwaukee as a youngster in Nigeria, and how he feels this program energizes kids in the community.
