Brewers announce NLCS Game 1 start time: 7 p.m.

I was wondering, almost to the point of frustration, why MLB had not announced a start time for Game 1 of the NLCS Friday night at Miller Park.

Once the Dodgers eliminated the Braves on Monday in Atlanta, we knew the combatants. We knew the game would be in Milwaukee and, given it is the only baseball game slated for Friday, we knew it would start at night.

But, would it start at 7 p.m.

Would it start at 7:37 p.m., or even 8 p.m., to allow for the West Coast audience to get in front of TVs.

Just when I was ready to fire a caustic "What are they waiting for!?" tweet, we get this from the Brewers.

I'm guessing the game will start a little past 7 p.m., but at least we know.
