Big 1st quarter helps Bucks to 115-105 win over Raptors

Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 36 points in 36 minutes to help power the Milwaukee Bucks to a 115-105 win over the defending NBA champion Toronto Raptors on Saturday night.

Antetokounmpo, the league's reigning MVP, also had 15 rebounds and eight assists, game-highs for both teams.

Kyle Lowry countered with 36 points of his own, but the Raptors' bench was out-scored by the Bucks 41-22.

Milwaukee lost to Toronto in six games in last year's NBA Eastern Conference finals. With the win, the Bucks are now 4-2 early in the 2019-2020 season.

Milwaukee now embarks on a four-game, week-long road trip that begins Monday night in Minnesota, and will also play the Clippers, Jazz, and Thunder. The Bucks play seven of their next eight games on the road, with just one home game in the span of 18 days.
