Brewers lose 7-2 Sunday as Cubs finish off sweep

After striking out 15 times and falling to the Cubs 7-2 Sunday, the Brewers were swept over the weekend by Chicago, failing to draw a walk in the entire series. Milwaukee is now four games out of first place in the NL Central, and two games back in the Wild Card.

Trent Grisham had his first career homer as part of a three-hit game for the Brewers, and Christian Yelich hit a first-inning solo shot for his MLB-leading 37th home run of the season.

Starting pitcher Adrian Houser got tagged for nine hits and four runs in five innings of work.

The Brewers have a day off, then head to Pittsburgh for a three-game series in the middle of the week. Milwaukee is just one game over .500 at 57-56.
