Brewers drop game, series to Mariners, losing 4-2 on Wednesday

Milwaukee will try to salvage the series finale on Thursday against Seattle, after the Mariners beat the Brewers 4-2 on Tuesday.

Seattle led 3-0 until the bottom of the sixth inning, when Mike Moustakas hit a home run and Ben Gamel hit an inside-the-park home run in the same inning. Those two hits were 40% of the Brewers' production, as Milwaukee managed just five hits on Wednesday night.

Adrian Houser took the loss, giving up all three runs in the first two innings before giving way to Freddy Peralta, who worked four scoreless frames.

Chase Anderson starts Thursday afternoon's contest. Anderson has pitched into the sixth inning one time in his nine starts this year.
