Brewers limited to four hits in second straight loss to Padres, 4-1

Logan Allen's debut for the San Diego Padres was a seven-inning shutout as the lefty gave up just three of the Brewers' four hits, and Milwaukee fell for the second straight night, this time by a 4-1 final margin.

The Brewers hit into three double plays, and didn't notch a run until the eighth inning off of Trey Wingenter.

Milwaukee also committed three errors on the night, and Brewers pitching gave up eight hits, seven by Brandon Woodruff, who also allowed four runs in six innings. Mike Moustakas left the game after being hit by a pitch in the fifth inning.

On the positive side, Christian Yelich ran his hitting streak to 14 games, and Corbin Burnes struck out the side in the seventh inning, his lone inning of work.

The series finale is Wednesday afternoon. Zach Davies goes for the Brewers.
