With struggles in the infield, most notably by Travis Shaw, so far in 2019, and the success that Milwaukee's top prospect has had, it appears the Brewers are set to call up Keston Hiura, according to The Athletic's Robert Murray.
As of the report, no corresponding roster move had been made, but Travis Shaw does have a minor league option available should the Brewers choose to send him down to San Antonio to work on things.
Hiura is hitting .333 in 2019 at Triple-A San Antonio, with 11 home runs in 147 plate appearances. Hiura's OPS at Triple-A is 1.106.
The 22-year-old was the 9th overall pick in the 2017 MLB Draft..
