Brewers fall in NLCS Game 7, lose series to Dodgers

Christian Yelich's solo home run in the first inning wasn't enough, as the Brewers gave up a pair of home runs to the Dodgers afterwards and fell 5-1 on Saturday night at Miller Park in Game 7 of the NLCS.

Los Angeles made a huge play on what would have been an extra-bases hit by Yelich later in the game, which would have driven in a run, but Chris Taylor made a leaping grab on the warning track to end the threat, and Milwaukee only managed one hit the rest of the way after that 5th-inning play.

Cody Bellinger hit a two-run homer in the second and Yasiel Puig delivered the dagger with a three-run shot in the fifth to lift the Dodgers to the World Series.

Los Angeles will advance to the World Series on Tuesday to play the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park.
