Jordan Poole (Rufus King HS) selected #28 overall in NBA Draft

Former Rufus King High School and Michigan Wolverine guard Jordan Poole was selected at #28 overall in the first round by the Golden State Warriors Thursday night in the NBA Draft.

Poole's selection makes him the second Milwaukee-area player to get selected in the first round in this year's draft, as Tyler Herro of Whitnall High School (in Greenfield) was selected #13 overall earlier in the evening by the Miami Heat.

Poole was a late riser up draft boards. His memorable career at Michigan includes a huge shot against Houston that advanced the Wolverines in the NCAA Tournament, a buzzer-beating three for the win.
